Enforcement Rules of the National Health Insurance Act Article 66
Professionals and technicians who satisfy the following requirements before the enforcement of the amendments of the Act on January 4, 2011 may subscribe to the Insurance as the insured under Category 2:1. The items of qualifications acquired were added to the applicable laws or regulations for Specialized Professional and Technician Examination after March 1, 1995;2. Joined occupational unions and subscribed to the Insurance as the insured under Category 2 when acquiring the qualifications set forth in the preceding subparagraph and upon the enforcement of the amendments of the Act on January 4, 2011; and3. Do not employ salaried helpers.

符合下列各款條件之專門職業及技術人員，於本法中華民國一百年一月四日修正之條文施行前，得以第二類被保險人身分參加本保險：
一、其取得之專門職業及技術人員資格項目，屬八十四年三月一日後始列入專門職業及技術人員考試相關法規者。
二、取得前款專門職業及技術人員資格及本法一百年一月四日修正之條文施行時，均以第二類被保險人身分於該類職業工會參加本保險。
三、未僱用有酬人員幫同工作。
