Organic Act for Social and Family Affairs Administration under Ministry of Health and Welfare Article 2
The Administration will be responsible for the following matters:1. planning, promotion and implementation of policies regarding the welfare services for senior citizens, people with physical and mental disabilities, women, children and youth, as well as enactment of relevant regulations;2. planning, promotion and implementation of human resources regarding the welfare of senior citizens, people with physical and mental disabilities, women, children and youth, as well as enactment of relevant regulations;3. planning, promotion and implementation of matters regarding protection of rights and interests of senior citizens, people with physical and mental disabilities, women, children and youth, as well as their social participation;4. supervision and guidance of duties conducted by welfare institutions for senior citizens, people with physical and mental disabilities, women, children and youth;5. planning, promotion and implementation of family support systems and services;6. other social and family welfare-related services.

三、老人、身心障礙者、婦女、兒童、少年權益保障、社會參與之規劃、推動及執行。
四、老人、身心障礙者、婦女、兒童、少年福利機構業務之監督及輔導。
五、家庭支持制度與服務之規劃、推動及執行。
六、其他有關社會及家庭福利服務事項。
