Slopeland Conservation And Utilization Act Article 2
In this Act, the term " competent authority" denotes the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan at the central level, municipality at the special municipal level, and county/city government at the county/city level.Matters pertaining to the administration and construction of slopeland are handled by the Ministry of the Interior in conjunction with the central competent authority. Matters pertaining to the mandated management and operation of state-owned slopeland are handled by the Ministry of Finance in conjunction with the central competent authority.

本條例所稱主管機關：在中央為行政院農業委員會；在直轄市為直轄市政府；在縣（市）為縣（市）政府。
有關山坡地之地政及營建業務，由內政部會同中央主管機關辦理；有關國有山坡地之委託管理及經營，由財政部會同中央主管機關辦理。
