Farmer Health Insurance Act Article 26
In case of injury or disease except emergent case, the insured persons shall apply to the medical institutions established or designated by the insurer for diagnosis and treatment. Where hospitalization is suggested by the designated medical institution after the process of diagnosis, the patient may apply for hospitalization.To apply for hospitalization due to a common disease, the accumulated insured time shall be not less than 45 days.

被保險人罹患傷病時，除緊急傷病外，應向保險人自設或特約之醫療機構申請診療。
經特約醫療機構診斷建議住院治療者，得申請住院治療。
罹患普通疾病，申請住院診療前參加保險年資，應合計滿四十五日。
