Enforcement Rules of Animal Protection Article 5
The animal protection inspector depicted in the Article 23, Paragraph 1 of the Act who shall pass the specific training made by the competent authority at the central government level. The volunteer inspector shall pass the specific training made by the municipal or county (city) competent authority.The municipal or county (city) competent authority shall provide the identification documents for animal protection inspector and volunteer inspector.

本法第二十三條第一項所定動物保護檢查人員，應經中央主管機關辦理專業訓練結業；所定義務動物保護員，應經直轄市或縣（市）主管機關辦理之專業訓練結業。
動物保護檢查人員及義務動物保護員之身分證明文件，由直轄市或縣（市）主管機關核發。
