Fisheries Act Article 59-1

To encourage fishermen to voluntarily cease fishing, and to reward fishermen for complying with the fishing closure, which lasts for two months or more every year, as promulgated by the central competent authority pursuant to Article 37 or 44, the central competent authority shall annually budget the reward for voluntary fishing cessation and closure by fishing vessels.For the reward for voluntary fishing cessation closure as referred to in the preceding paragraph, regulations on the qualifications for application, terms and conditions, required documents, procedures, deadline, reward amount, manner(s) for granting the reward, revocation condition(s), and other requirements shall be prescribed by the central competent authority.
