Regulations on the Management of Crew Members of Fishing Vessels Article 15-2
Where a crew who serves onboard an authorized distant water fishing vessel applies for the renewal of his/her Certificate of Fishing Vessel Officer but fails to submit the Certificate for Physical Examination in accordance with sub-paragraph (4) of Article 15-1 due to operating at sea, he/she shall provide the Certificate within one month after returning to the Republic of China. In case that the crew cannot submit the original Certificate of Fishing Vessel Officer in accordance with subparagraph (5) of Article 15-1, the National Identification, Resident Certificate, passport, or driver license may be used for substitute.

船員服務於經許可從事遠洋漁業之漁船，其幹部執業證書期滿申請換發，因出海作業致無法檢附前條第四款體格檢查證明書者，應於返國後一個月內補送證明書。
無法檢附前條第五款幹部船員執業證書正本者，得以國民身分證、居留證、護照或駕駛執照替代。
