Regulations for the Issuance of Building Permit and Fishing License of Fishing Vessel Article 19
The replacement qualification is valid for 3 years starting from the date of the loss of the fishing vessel. However, a fishing vessel that applies for scrapping within the following period and the scrapping is completed within three months after the approval date of the application shall not be subject to this provision:(1) From 7 July to 31 December 2023: the replacement qualification is valid for 15 years starting from the date of the loss of the fishing vessel.(2) From 1 January to 31 December 2024: the replacement qualification is valid for 12 years starting from the date of the loss of the fishing vessel.(3) From 1 January to 31 December 2025: the replacement qualification is valid for 9 years starting from the date of the loss of the fishing vessel.The replacement qualification permitted in accordance with Article 9, paragraph 2 shall be valid for 3 years starting from the date of the approval.

汰建資格自漁船滅失之日起三年內有效。
但於下列期間內申請漁船解體，並於核准之日起三個月內完成解體者，不在此限：
一、中華民國一百十二年七月七日起至十二月三十一日止：汰建資格自漁船解體滅失之日起十五年內有效。
二、中華民國一百十三年一月一日起至十二月三十一日止：汰建資格自漁船解體滅失之日起十二年內有效。
三、中華民國一百十四年一月一日起至十二月三十一日止：汰建資格自漁船解體滅失之日起九年內有效。
依第九條第二項規定獲准原經營漁業種類汰建資格者，自獲准之日起三年內有效。
但於下列期間內申請漁船解體，並於核准之日起三個月內完成解體者，不在此限：
一、中華民國一百十二年七月七日起至十二月三十一日止：汰建資格自漁船解體滅失之日起十五年內有效。
二、中華民國一百十三年一月一日起至十二月三十一日止：汰建資格自漁船解體滅失之日起十二年內有效。
