Regulations on the Investment in or the Operation of Foreign Flag Fishing Vessels Article 4
Any foreign flag fishing vessel invested or operated by the person with the nationality of the Republic of China shall receive the observer dispatched by the flag State concerned and shall not refuse, evade, or obstruct the deployment of observer. Such fishing vessel shall fish in the fishing Ocean(s), fishing area(s), or fishing period(s), and with the fishing gear(s) and fishing method(s) as authorized by the flag State and coastal State concerned.

中華民國人投資經營非我國籍漁船者，應接受船籍國派遣觀察員隨船作業，不得規避、妨礙或拒絕；其漁船應依船籍國與沿岸國核准之作業海域、作業漁區、作業期間、漁具及漁撈方法作業。
