The Forestry Act Article 45
All forest products are subject to permitting and inspection by the government agency prior to transport for distribution. The terms of logging and harvesting permits, application procedures, and due compliance requirements and inspection regulations shall be decreed by the central government agency.The government agency shall set up checkpoints to inspect the harvest at crucial locations along the roadways used to transport forest products.The said government agency or public official invested with criminal investigation authority may, at their discretion, inspect the harvester’s permit, account book, equipment and materials.

凡伐採林產物，應經主管機關許可並經查驗，始得運銷；其伐採之許可條件、申請程序、伐採時應遵行事項及伐採查驗之規則，由中央主管機關定之。
主管機關，應在林產物搬運道路重要地點，設林產物檢查站，檢查林產物。
前項主管機關或有偵查犯罪職權之公務員，因執行職務認為必要時，得檢查林產物採取人之伐採許可證、帳簿及器具材料。
