Act on Transactions in Markets of Agricultural Products Article 12
Agricultural wholesale markets are deemed public utilities, and their establishment, as well as the scope of their business operations, shall be planned by respective competent authorities and may be funded through government budgets.The plans proposed by local competent authorities are subject to submission to and approval by the Central Competent Authority.

農產品批發市場為公用事業，其設立及業務項目，由各級主管機關規劃，並得編列預算予以補助。
