Management and Approval Regulations for Hong Kong and Macao Residents with Overseas Compatriot Identity Article 2
The present Regulations apply to residents of Hong Kong and Macau, who obtained the status of overseas compatriot prior to the end of British or Portuguese rule, as well as their spouses and children who are eligible for Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality.
