Meteorological Act Article 19
The media and news agencies shall timely and precisely disseminate the weather, earthquake, and marine weather forecast(s) and warning(s) issued by the CWA. Any error appearing in the preceding coverage shall be corrected promptly after receiving notification from the CWA.When reporting weather or marine weather forecast(s) not issued by the CWA, the corresponding forecast(s) issued by the CWA shall be noted simultaneously in accordance with the terms of Paragraph 2, Article 18.

新聞傳播機構對中央氣象局發布之氣象、地震或海象之預報或警報，均應適時據實廣為傳播；如有錯誤，經中央氣象局通知後，應立即更正。
新聞傳播機構報導非中央氣象局發布之氣象或海象之預報，應同時註明前條第二項規定之事項。
