Aircraft Flight Operation Regulations Article 3
In an in-flight emergency situation requiring immediate action, the pilot-in-command (PIC) may deviate from any rule or article to the extent required to meet that emergency. Each pilot-in-command (PIC) who deviates from a rule or article shall notify the appropriate local authorities without delay. The pilot-in-command (PIC) shall also notify CAA within 24 hours.

飛航中遇有危及航空器或人員安全之緊急情況發生時，機長得為一切緊急處置。
