Aircraft Flight Operation Regulations Article 129-1
All turbine-engined airplanes of a maximum certificated take-off mass in excess of 5,700 kg, for which the individual certificate of airworthiness is first issued on or after 1 January 2026, shall be equipped with a runway overrun awareness and alerting system (ROAAS). If an aircraft, due to special circumstances, is unable to meet the compliance date of this article, the operator shall apply to the CAA for an extension, which will be granted at its discretion. Along with the application, the operator shall explicitly provide a clear description of the grounds for the application and any relevant information, if deemed applicable.

中華民國一百十五年一月一日以後首次適航之渦輪發動機飛機，其最大起飛重量超過五千七百公斤者，應裝置衝出跑道預警及警告系統。
