Each person performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding or alteration shall do that work in such a manner and use materials of such a quality, that the condition of the aircraft, its powerplant, propeller, component or part worked on will be at least equal to its original or properly altered condition.The aforementioned ‘equal to its original or properly altered condition ‘means with regard to aerodynamic function, structural strength, resistance to vibration and deterioration, and other qualities affecting airworthiness.

從事維修、預防性維修或改裝之人員，應妥善執行及使用合格之材料，使其所維修之航空器與其發動機、螺旋槳、各項裝備及零組件之運作，等同於原始或經適當改裝後之情況。
前項所稱之原始或經適當改裝後之情況，係指不影響其空氣動力功能、結構強度、抗振能力、抗退化能力及其他適航特性之情況。
