Regulations Governing Licences and Ratings for Airmen Article 85
The applicant shall have demonstrated a level of knowledge appropriate to the privilege granted to the holder of an instrument rating in the following subjects:(1) Rules and regulations relevant to flight under IFR, use of aeronautical documentation such as AIP, NOTAM;(2) IFR air traffic management procedures, radiotelephony procedures and phraseology as applied to operations under IFR;(3) Use, limitation and serviceability of avionics and instruments practices and procedures in the event of malfunctions of various flight instruments;(4) Principles and procedures of instrument flight;(5) Aeronautical Charts for instrument flight, aeronautical meteorological information.

申請儀器飛航檢定者，應檢定儀器飛航學科，其內容如下：

四、儀器飛航原理及程序。
五、儀器飛航航空圖表、氣象資格。
