Civil Aviation Act Article 9-1
The owner or operator shall maintain the certificated or validated aviation products, appliances in an airworthiness condition.The regulations governing the certification for the maintenance, airworthiness release, maintenance record, life-limited parts control, maintenance control, etc., shall be prescribed by MOTC.

航空器使用人或所有人對經檢定合格或認可之航空產品與其各項裝備及零組件應妥善維修，以維持其適航條件。
前項航空產品與其各項裝備、零組件之適航維修、簽證、紀錄、年限管制、維修管理及其他應遵行事項之規則，由交通部定之。
