If the examinee of second-class yacht or powerboat licensing examination fails the written examination or practice examination, he/she may retake the examination again within 1 year.The examinees who apply for the prior category of retaking examination and have one of the following circumstances, you may apply for a different type of make-up examination either written or practice. Moreover, you may only apply for the driving license of the application type after passing the make-up examination and you may not apply for the make-up examination of original type:1. The examinee who originally failed the Second-class yacht master examination may apply make-up written or practice examination for the private powerboat master’s license.2. The examinee who originally failed the Business powerboat master examination may apply make-up written or practice examination for the private powerboat master’s license.
