Regulations Governing the Security and Maintenance of Personal Data Files for the Vessel Carrier Article 8

The Operators shall take the following actions in order to comply with the obligation to notify as described in Article 8 and 9 of The Act:1.Review the specified purpose of collection and processing of personal information.2.Review whether such actions as collection and processing of personal information satisfy the criteria for exemption of notification. Information owners shall be duly notified of the information collection status through appropriate means when such actions fail to satisfy the above-mentioned criteria.
