The Law of Ships Article 67
For yachts having passed the inspection and measurement, the owner shall apply for registration at the shipping administration authority within 3 months pursuant to the following stipulations:1. Yachts of 20 gross tons or above shall be registered according to the provisions in the Ship Registration Law.2. Yachts under 20 gross tons shall be registered according to the provision of Article 71.After the yachts of Subparagraph 1 in the preceding paragraph are registered, the shipping administration authority shall issue a Certificate of Registry.

遊艇於檢查合格及丈量後，所有人應於三個月內依下列規定，向航政機關申請登記或註冊：
一、總噸位二十以上之遊艇，依船舶登記法規定辦理登記。
二、總噸位未滿二十之遊艇，依第七十一條所定規則辦理註冊。
前項第一款遊艇登記後，航政機關應核發船舶登記證書。
