The Law of Ships Article 6
Any non-R.O.C. flag ship shall not fly a national flag of the R.O.C., except otherwise stipulated in laws, or under any one of the following circumstances:1. On the National Day or any memorial day of the R.O.C., or2. When celebration or salute is needed.

非中華民國船舶，不得懸掛中華民國國旗。
但法令另有規定或有下列各款情形之一者，得懸掛中華民國國旗：
一、中華民國國慶日或紀念日。
二、其他應表示慶祝或敬意時。
