Regulations for Seafarer Training, Examination and Application for Certification Article 24-1

In order to review the course credit certificate of the first item in the preceding article, the navigation authority may invite the shipping groups, shipping experts and scholars, representatives of the domestic maritime school, and international maritime certification institution to establish a course review team to review the courses from the Department of Navigation of a public or a registered private skills-based senior high school. The courses shall meet the specification of minimum standard of competence of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers.From July 1, 2023, the course credit certificate issued by the Department of Navigation of a public or a registered private skills-based senior high school shall be in accordance with the specification of minimum standard of competence announcement by the navigation authority and approved by the navigation authority.
