Maritime Act Article 19
No mortgage or sale of the ship shall be effected by the co-owned ship’s husband unless he has been authorized by co-owners in written in accordance with Article 11.No restriction imposed by co-owners upon such delegated authority of a ship’s husband can be set up against a bona fide third person.
