Regulations for Passenger Ship Administration Article 62
Passenger cabins shall not adjoin oil tanks, except those in compliance with the following requirements:1. The passenger cabins, which are additionally installed with a steel airtight bulkhead; and, besides the wall ventilation, the space between the two bulkheads is accessible; and2. There shall no manholes or other openings on the top plate of oil tanks, and the plate shall be laid with non-combustible materials at least 38 mm in thickness, and there shall be sufficient ventilation for the passenger cabins.

乘客艙室不得與油艙相鄰。
但符合下列規定者，不在此限：
一、另加裝一道氣密鋼製艙壁，兩艙壁間除有良好之通風外，並可通行。
二、油艙頂板上未設人孔或其他開口，並敷有至少厚達三十八毫米之不燃性敷料，且使該乘客艙室具有充分之通風。
