Postal Act Article 35-2
Any person who endangers the normal operation of the Core Postal Information and Communication System by any of the following means shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than one year and not more than seven years, and may also be fined a maximum of NT$10 million:1. Invading the computer or related equipment by entering the password of the account, breaking the protection measures of the computer, or exploiting the loopholes of the computer system for no reason.2. Interfering with the computer or related equipment by computer programs or other electromagnetic means for no reason.3. Obtain, delete, or alter the electromagnetic records of the computer or related equipment for no reason.The same applies to those who create computer programs specifically for the perpetration of the aforesaid crimes for their own use or for the use of others.Any person who commits any crime specified in the preceding two paragraphs with the intent to endanger national security or social stability shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than three years and not more than ten years, and may also be fined a maximum of NT$50 million.In the event that the circumstances described in the preceding three paragraphs cause damage to the stability of the financial market, the penalty shall be increased by up to one-half.Any attempt to commit an offense as specified in the first to the third paragraph shall be punishable.

對於郵政核心資通系統，以下列方法之一，危害其功能正常運作者，處一年以上七年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣一千萬元以下罰金：
一、無故輸入其帳號密碼、破解使用電腦之保護措施或利用電腦系統之漏洞，而入侵其電腦或相關設備。
二、無故以電腦程式或其他電磁方式干擾其電腦或相關設備。
三、無故取得、刪除或變更其電腦或相關設備之電磁紀錄。
製作專供犯前項之罪之電腦程式，而供自己或他人犯前項之罪者，亦同。
意圖危害國家安全或社會安定，而犯前二項之罪者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣五千萬元以下罰金。
前三項情形致損及金融市場穩定者，加重其刑至二分之一。
第一項至第三項之未遂犯罰之。
