For registered mails, the inquiries can be made within six months from the day after the date of mailing; However, for EMS, inquiries can be made within four months from the day after the date of mailing.After these time periods, the post office may refuse to answer any inquiry and is not liable for any claim.

掛號郵件之查詢期限自交寄之次日起算六個月。
但國際快捷郵件之查詢期限自交寄之次日起算四個月。
逾前項查詢期限者，郵局得不予提供查詢，並不負補償責任。
