For license plates of mini electric two-wheel vehicle damaged, altered, or rendered unrecognizable as a result of installing other devices, owners shall be fined from NT$900 to NT$1,800, and required to apply for new license plates or make corrections.In the event of any of the following, mini electric two-wheel vehicle owners shall be fined from NT$150 to NT$300 and shall be required to make corrections, apply for renewing of license plates, or stop riding:1. License plates lost or broken and failing to be reported to the competent roadway authorities for applying new or replacing ones.2. Failing to keep license plates clean or cover the license plates by things to block observation, unless it is caused by not avoidable roadway situations such as rain, snow, or other nature disasters.
中文原文 道路交通管理處罰條例第71-2條
微型電動二輪車損毀或變造牌照、塗抹污損牌照，或以安裝其他器具之方式，使不能辨認其牌號者，處所有人新臺幣九百元以上一千八百元以下罰鍰，並責令申請換領牌照或改正。
微型電動二輪車行駛有下列情形之一者，處所有人新臺幣一百五十元以上三百元以下罰鍰，並責令改正、補換牌照或禁止其行駛：
一、牌照遺失或破損，不報請補發、換發或重新申請。
二、牌照污穢，不洗刷清楚或為他物遮蔽，非行車途中因遇雨、雪道路泥濘所致。
微型電動二輪車行駛有下列情形之一者，處所有人新臺幣一百五十元以上三百元以下罰鍰，並責令改正、補換牌照或禁止其行駛：
一、牌照遺失或破損，不報請補發、換發或重新申請。
二、牌照污穢，不洗刷清楚或為他物遮蔽，非行車途中因遇雨、雪道路泥濘所致。
