Railway Act Article 14
Where railways and roadways intersect, three-dimensional crossings or railway-crossings shall be installed according to the volume of traffic.The measures of planning, design, installation, modification, discontinuance, installation standards, expense allocation and other relevant matters of aforementioned three-dimensional crossings’ or railway-crossings’ protective facilities shall be provided by the MOTC.

鐵路與道路相交處，應視通過交通量之多寡，設置立體交叉或平交道。
前項鐵路立體交叉與平交道防護設施之規劃、設計、施工、新設、變更、廢除、設置基準、費用分擔及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由交通部定之。
