The Standards Act Article 1
This Act is set up for the purpose of the establishment and use of uniform standards in order to promote standardization; to pursue quality improvement for products, processes, and services; to increase productivity; and to ensure adequacy of production, transportation, marketing and consumption so as to promote public safety.

為制定及推行共同一致之標準，並促進標準化，謀求改善產品、過程及服務之品質、增進生產效率、維持生產、運銷或消費之合理化，以增進公共福祉，特制定本法。
