Regulations Governing the Establishment of National Standards Article 14
The standards authority shall submit the final draft of national standards to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) for approval and promulgation as the ROC national standards.The title of the promulgated standards referred in the previous paragraph shall be announced in the Official Gazette: Standards and notified the proposal holder.Any standards not undergoing the announcement procedure in the first Paragraph shall be named National Standards of the Republic of China (CNS) upon its promulgation.

標準專責機關應將國家標準審定稿報請經濟部核定公布為中華民國國家標準。
前項經公布之中華民國國家標準，應將其名稱刊登標準公報，並通知原建議人。
非依第一項規定程序公布之標準，不得稱為中華民國國家標準。
