Regulations Governing the Establishment of National Standards Article 12
Under any of the following conditions found by the Review Council, the standards authority may terminate the establishment or amendment of national standards:1.The proposals for the establishment or amendment of national standards, adopted by the Review Council, are unable to be included in the draft of national standards.2.The national standards draft fails in the review of the Technical Committee, and cannot be revised, or be passed in the review of the Technical Committee within 2 years since the day it was sent to the Technical Committee for review.The proposals for establishment or amendment of national standards, abandoned due to the above procedure, shall be notified to the proposal holders.

有下列情形之一者，經審查委員會審議通過，標準專責機關得終止制定或修訂程序：
一、經採行之國家標準制定或修訂建議，無法編擬為國家標準草案。
二、國家標準草案經技術委員會審查未通過，且無法修正，或自送技術委員會審查日起二年內無法通過。
國家標準制定或修訂建議經依前項終止程序者，應通知原建議人。
