Regulations Governing Registration of Product Certification Article 5
A registration certificate shall be issued to the applicant after the application has been reviewed and approved. Upon issuance of the certificate, the applicant will be permitted to use the certification mark in accordance with the Regulations Governing the Use of Commodity Inspection Marks. Where the commodity inspection mark for certain products designated by the BSMI per public notice is to be printed by the BSMI, the certificate holder shall make an application to the certification bodies for obtaining such inspection mark labels by submitting information on the types, specifications and quantities of the registered products as well as other documents requested by the BSMI.For the review mentioned in the preceding Paragraph, the certification bodies may request samples to be provided by the applicant for performing necessary testing or witness testing on specific features of the commodities. The certification bodies may dispatch inspectors to the production premises to conduct on-site visits.Where the registered commodities are sold to other person and marketed under the name of such person, the certificate holder shall report the name, address, or trade mark of that person to the certification bodies.The registration certificate mentioned in Paragraph 1 may be issued in the electronic format.

驗證登錄之申請案經審查符合者，准予登錄，發給商品驗證登錄證書；並准予依據商品檢驗標識使用辦法之規定使用驗證登錄之商品檢驗標識，但經指定公告使用由標準檢驗局印製之專用商品檢驗標識者，證書名義人應檢附驗證登錄商品之型式、規格、數量及其他經標準檢驗局指定之資料文件，向驗證機關（構）申請核發。
前項之審查，驗證機關（構）必要時得要求申請人提供樣品，就特定項目執行測試、監督試驗或派員赴生產廠場實地查核。
取得驗證登錄之商品售予他人，並以他人名義銷售該商品者，證書名義人應向驗證機關（構）報備銷售者之名稱、地址或商標。
第一項之商品驗證登錄證書得以電子文件形式為之。
