The Commodity Inspection Act Article 23
After samples are taken in accordance with the preceding Article and prior to the issuance of an inspection certificate, the BSMI may seal the commodities subject to inspection and place them under the custody of the obligatory inspection applicant.The applicant shall not, without legitimate reasons, evade, hinder, or refuse the implementation of the sealing procedure mentioned in the preceding Paragraph.

應施檢驗商品，依前條規定取樣後，尚未取得檢驗合格證書前，標準檢驗局得予封存，並交由報驗義務人保管。
