Regulations Governing Verification and Inspection of Measuring Instruments Article 18
Where a verified legal measuring instrument is suspended from use due to certain causes, the owner or holder may report to the verification agency (institution), who shall attach slips of suspension of use to the legal measuring instrument, and the legal measuring instrument may be exempted from inspection.Where the suspension of use referred to in the preceding Paragraph is not reported to the verification agency (institution) and the validity period of verification has expired, the owner or holder shall make new applications for verification.
中文原文 度量衡器檢定檢查辦法第18條
經檢定合格之法定度量衡器，因故暫停使用，其所有人或持有人得向檢定機關（構）報備，經檢定機關（構）加貼停止使用單後，免接受檢查。
前項之暫停使用未向檢定機關（構）報備，而逾檢定合格有效期間者，其所有人或持有人應重新申請檢定。
