The Electricity Act Article 16
Unless otherwise approved by the Electricity Industry Regulatory Agency, an Electricity Generating Enterprise that has been granted a building permit, expansion permit or work permit shall not change the source of energy, installed capacity, or site of its major power-generation equipment.Article 14 of this Act applies mutatis mutandis to the review of any change described in the preceding paragraph.

發電業經核發籌設許可、擴建許可或工作許可證者，非經電業管制機關核准，不得變更其主要發電設備之能源種類、裝置容量或廠址。
