Factory Management and Counseling Act Article 22
Factories that manufacture, process, or use hazardous materials above the threshold quantity for control shall purchase public accident liability insurance. However, this requirement does not apply to those who have purchased any public accident liability insurance in accordance with other laws or regulations.The regulations governing the minimum amount of insurance coverage and the method of applying for the insurance referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by the central competent authority in consultation with the central insurance authority.

工廠製造、加工或使用危險物品達管制量以上者，應投保公共意外責任保險。
但已依其他法令規定投保公共意外責任保險者，不在此限。
前項保險之最低保險金額及投保辦法，由中央主管機關會商中央保險主管機關定之。
