Sand and Gravel Excavation Act Article 1
This Act is enacted to rationally develop sand and gravel resources, protect the natural environment, strengthen the management system, and prevent disasters caused by improper excavation of sand and gravel, so as to achieve sustainable national development; where matters are not provided for in this Act, the provisions of other laws shall apply.

為合理開發土石資源，維護自然環境，健全管理制度，防止不當土石採取造成相關災害，以達致國家永續發展之目的，特制定本法；本法未規定者，適用其他法律之規定。
