Enforcement Rules of the Detention Act Article 44
Detention centers may implement necessary segregations of defendants in accordance with Paragraph 4, Article 79 of the Act in order to investigate breaches of rules by defendants; however, the segregation period shall not exceed the necessary extent. During the segregation period, the guidance, supplies, medical care, visits and correspondence and other treatments for relevant defendants shall remain compliant with applicable provisions of the Act.

看守所依本法第七十九條第四項規定，為調查被告違規事項，對相關被告施以必要之區隔者，其區隔期間不得逾必要之程度。
