Enforcement Rules of the Detention Act Article 18
When a detention center has approved the use of guard instruments on a defendant in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 19 of the Act, the dates, start and end time for the use of guard instrument, the reason for using and the type and quantity of guard instruments used shall be documented in the guard instrument record chart, which shall be submitted to the senior detention center official for approval.Detention center personnel shall constantly observe the behaviors of the defendant and stop the use of guard instruments instantly when they are no longer deemed necessary.
中文原文 羈押法施行細則第18條
看守所依本法第十九條第一項規定核准施用戒具者，應於外出施用戒具紀錄表記明被告施用戒具之日期、起訖時間、施用原因、戒具種類及數量，並陳送看守所長官核閱。
看守所人員應隨時觀察被告之行狀，無施用戒具必要者，應即解除。
