The Enforcement Rules of the Prison Act Article 26
In undertaking processing work commissioned to Prisons under Article 34 of the Act, public solicitations for commissioned processing suppliers shall be organized regularly. Due care shall be exercised to the supplier’s finances, contract performance capabilities and the market prices of the processed products in order to acquire reasonable prices for commissioned processing.Before contracting commissioned processing work, trials may be conducted first to test the suitability of the work and the efficiency of the workforce.

監獄辦理本法第三十四條之委託加工，應定期以公開方式徵求委託加工廠商，並注意廠商財務、履約能力及加工產品之市價情形，以取得委託加工之合理價格。
