Prison Act Article 86
Where an inmate adversely affects the order or security of the prison, the prison may implement punishments in one or multiple subparagraphs below:1. Reprimand;2. Suspension of delivery of food from outside parties for three to seven days;3. Suspension of the inmate’s own purchases of non-essential items for seven to fourteen days;4. Transfer to a housing area for rule breakers for fourteen to sixty days.Regulations governing action patterns that adversely affect prison order or security in the preceding paragraph, the type and duration of punishment, management, limitations, and prohibitions in a housing area for rule breakers, and other requirements shall be prescribed by the Ministry of Justice.

受刑人有妨害監獄秩序或安全之行為時，得施以下列一款或數款之懲罰：
一、警告。
二、停止接受送入飲食三日至七日。
三、停止使用自費購買之非日常生活必需品七日至十四日。
四、移入違規舍十四日至六十日。
前項妨害監獄秩序或安全之行為態樣與應施予懲罰之種類、期間、違規舍之生活管理、限制、禁止及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由法務部定之。
