Prison Act Article 52
The inmates’ housing areas, workshops, and other areas must be provided with sufficient space, lighting, and ventilation for the benefits of health. Inmates must also be provided with sufficient bathroom facilities for their daily use.Items provided by the prison for usage by inmates must meet sanitary and safety requirements.

受刑人舍房、作業場所及其他處所，應維持保健上必要之空間、光線及通風，且有足供生活所需之衛浴設施。
