Crime Victim Rights Protection Act Article 52
The categories of crime victim compensation and the persons entitled to receive such compensation are as follows:1. Survivor Compensation: payable to the family members of deceased victims of criminal acts.2. Serious injury Compensation: payable to seriously injured victims of criminal acts.3. Sexual assault Compensation: payable to victims of sexual assault crimes.4. Overseas compensation: payable to family members of deceased victim of ROC nationals with household registration in the Taiwan who passed away outside the territory of ROC due to intentional crimes committed by any other third parties.The compensation under the preceding Paragraph shall be paid in a lump sum, or in installments at the request of the applicant.

犯罪被害補償金之種類及支付對象如下：
一、遺屬補償金：因犯罪行為致死亡者之遺屬。
二、重傷補償金：因犯罪行為致重傷者。
三、性侵害補償金：因犯罪行為致性自主權遭受侵害者。
四、境外補償金：在臺灣地區設有戶籍之我國國民，於我國領域外因他人故意犯罪行為致死亡者之遺屬。
前項犯罪被害補償金應一次支付。
但得因申請人之申請分期支付。
