Attorney Regulation Act Article 55
The chairman a local bar association shall be the representative of the association.If the chairman is unable to perform his/her duties for any reason, the vice chairman shall act as his/her representative; if there is no vice chairman or if the vice chairman is unable to perform his/her duties, the managing director (if any) shall be appointed by the chairman to act as his/her representative; if there is no managing director, the chairman shall appoint a director to act as his/her representative; if the chairman fails to or is unable to appoint a director as his/her representative, the managing director or directors shall elect one director from among themselves to act as the chairman's representative.

地方律師公會以理事長為代表人。
理事長因故無法執行職務時，由副理事長代理；無副理事長或副理事長無法執行職務時，置有常務理事者，應由理事長指定常務理事一人代理，無常務理事者，應由理事長指定理事一人代理；理事長未指定或不能指定時，由常務理事或理事互推一人代理。
