If a punishment is to be both increased and reduced, the increase shall precede the reduction.If there are two or more reductions, reduction in the lesser degree shall precede reduction in the greater degree.

刑有加重及減輕者，先加後減。
有二種以上之減輕者，先依較少之數減輕之。
