A public official who discloses or gives away a document, plan, information, or another thing of a secret nature relating to matters other than national defense shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than three years.A person who negligently commits an offense specified in the preceding paragraph shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than one year, short-term imprisonment, or a find of not more than nine thousand dollars.A person other than a public official who discloses or gives away a document, plan, information, or another thing specified in paragraph 1 which comes to his knowledge or possession because of his occupation or profession shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than one year, short-term imprisonment, or a fine of not more than nine thousand dollars.

公務員洩漏或交付關於中華民國國防以外應秘密之文書、圖畫、消息或物品者，處三年以下有期徒刑。
因過失犯前項之罪者，處一年以下有期徒刑、拘役或九千元以下罰金。
非公務員因職務或業務知悉或持有第一項之文書、圖畫、消息或物品，而洩漏或交付之者，處一年以下有期徒刑、拘役或九千元以下罰金。
