Foundations Act Article 5
A foundation’s name shall include the word “foundation”. A local foundation’s name shall include the name of the municipality or county (city) where such foundation is established.No foundation may use a name which is identical with that of another foundation. Where the names of two foundations contain any different kinds, attributes or words that may distinguish the two foundations, such names shall not be considered identical with each other.No foundation may use a name that is likely to mislead the public about its affiliation with any government agency or implicates discrimination or hatred.

財團法人應於其名稱冠以財團法人之文字。
地方性財團法人並應冠以所屬地方自治團體之名稱。
財團法人名稱，不得與他財團法人名稱相同。
二財團法人名稱中標明不同種類、屬性或可資區別之文字者，視為不相同。
財團法人不得使用易使人誤認其與政府機關（構）有關或有歧視性、仇恨性之名稱。
