The Arbitration Law of ROC Article 44
The parties to an arbitration may reach a settlement before the arbitral award is rendered. If the parties reach a settlement before the conclusion of the arbitration, the arbitrator shall issue a settlement agreement reflecting the agreed terms.A settlement agreement under the preceding paragraph shall have the same force and effect as that of an arbitral award. However, the settlement agreement shall only be enforced upon the court’s approval of an enforcement application and issuance of an enforcement order.

仲裁事件，於仲裁判斷前，得為和解。
和解成立者，由仲裁人作成和解書。
前項和解，與仲裁判斷有同一效力。
但須聲請法院為執行裁定後，方得為強制執行。
