The provisions of Article 318 of the Civil Code shall apply to the obligations assumed before the coming into force of the Part of Obligations of the Civil Code.The provision of the revised second paragraph of Article 318 of the Civil Code shall also apply to the obligations assumed before the coming into force of the revision of the Part of Obligations of the Civil Code.

民法第三百十八條之規定，於民法債編施行前所負債務，亦適用之。
修正之民法第三百十八條第二項之規定，於民法債編修正施行前所負債務，並適用之。
